白马山是绍兴城内的一座名山，据《绍兴县志》记载：在蕺山、彭山间。山旁有白马庙，并有书室。已湮没。当前其所在位置紧靠中兴路，对面是书圣故里，其东面是东大池。目前，实际只是一个小土丘，约250平方米范围。但此山风景很美，山上有很多树木，算得上绿树成荫。

据传，白马山上曾经有七株茶树，却从未有人能采摘，说是因为在茶树周围，有一匹白马守护着它们。这七株茶树原是七仙女所变。在海上护航的七仙女姐妹，结伴私游到越国城内，当她们来到越国城内时，发现此座小山风景怡人，于是便安顿下来。

一日，她们在山下的东大池洗澡时，突然出现一位英俊高大的男人。他声称自己是龙马天驷，原是神仙的座骑，因得罪了王母娘娘，而被贬下凡间，偶然与她们相遇，实属幸运。七姐妹对龙马天驷产生了爱慕之情，便挽留他在山中游玩。

由于没有七姐妹的守护，邪恶的黑龙便出来作恶，弄得船翻人亡，渔产无获。玉帝十分生气，将她们贬下凡间，化成七株茶树，在此山中永受日晒雨淋之苦。龙马天驷知道了七仙女是因为自己才被贬，十分歉意，便决意守护她们。从此，龙马天驷日夜守护在茶树旁，特别是在清明前后，更是寸步不离，以防茶树被凡夫俗子所染指。据说，后来常有人看见一匹白马在山上驰聘，认为是龙马天驷，便将此山称作为白马山。

White Horse Mountain was a famous mountain in Shaoxing. According to Records of Shaoxing County, it was located between Qishan Mountain and Pengshan Mountain. There was a temple called White Horse Temple and a library at the foot of the mountain. However, this mountain did not exist any longer. At present, it was actually a small mound next to Zhongxin Road, covering an area of about 250 square meters, with Hometown of Saint of Calligraphy across the street and East Pond to its east. This place enjoyed beautiful scenery with a lot of trees on it.

According to legend, there was a white horse guarding around seven tea trees on White Horse Mountain, and no one could get close to the trees, not to mention pick tea leaves. These seven tea trees were originally transformed from seven fairies. The seven fairy sisters were the protectors of the sea. But one day, they deserted their post, and traveled privately to the city of Yue. They found the scenery of the mountain was so beautiful and decided to settle down here.

One day, when they were taking a bath in East Pond at the foot of the mountain, a handsome tall man suddenly appeared. He claimed that he was a dragon horse, and used to be a mount of an immortal. He was relegated to the mortal world because he had offended the goddess Queen Mother. Seven fairy sisters were fond of this dragon horse, so they allowed him to stay.

Without the protection of the seven fairy sisters, the evil black dragon came out. He capsized the boats and caused heavy casualties. The Jade Emperor was so angry that he demoted them to the mortal world and turned them into seven tea trees. They were punished perpetually by subjecting to the sun and rain in this mountain. The dragon horse was very sorry to know that the fairies were demoted, and decided to guard them. Since then, the dragon horse had been guarding the tea trees day and night, especially around the Qingming Festival, so as to prevent the tea trees from being touched by ordinary people. Thereafter, people often saw a white horse galloping on the mountain and thought it was the dragon horse, so they called the mountain White Horse Mountain.

백마산은 소흥성 내에 있는 유명한 산으로 "소흥현지(绍兴县志)"에 의하면 지산(蕺山), 팽산(彭山) 사이에 있다. 산 옆에는 백마사（白马庙）가 있고 서실(书室)이 있었으나 이미 오래 전에 없어졌다. 현재 그 위치는 중심로(中心路)에 붙어 있고, 맞은편에는 서성거리(书圣故里)가 있고, 그 동쪽에는 동대못이(东大池) 있다. 지금은 250 평방미터 정도의 작은 언덕일 뿐이다. 그러나 이 산의 풍경은 매우 아름답다. 산에는 많은 나무가 있어 녹음이 우거져 있다고 할 수 있다.

전해 내려오는 설에 의하면 백마산에 일곱 그루의 차나무가 있었으나 아무도 따지 못했다고 한다. 그 이유는 차나무 주위에 백마 한 마리가 그들을 지키고 있기 때문이라고 한다. 이 일곱 그루의 차나무는 원래 일곱 선녀가 변한 것이다. 바다를 수호하던 일곱 선녀 자매는, 함께 몰래 헤엄쳐 월국성(越国城) 안으로 들어갔는데, 그녀들이 월국성 안으로 왔을 때, 이 언덕의 풍경이 아름다움에 빠져 바로 정착하였다.

어느 날, 그녀들이 산 아래에 있는 동대못에서 목욕을 하고 있을 때, 갑자기 잘생기고 키가 큰 남자가 나타났다. 그는 자신이 용마천사이며, 원래는 신선이 타던 말이었는데, 왕모님에 미움을 사서 인간세상으로 내려가라고 좌천되었는데, 우연히 그녀들과 만나게 된 것은 정말 행운이었다고 생각했다. 일곱 자매는 용마천사에게 연모의 정이 생겨서, 그가 산중에서 노는 것을 만류했다.

바다에는 그 일곱 자매의 보호가 없었기 때문에, 사악한 흑룡(黑龙)이 나와서 악행을 저질러 배가 뒤집히고 사람이 죽었으며, 어선들의 수확이 없었다. 옥황상제(玉帝)는 매우 화가 나서 그녀들을 인간 세상으로 내려가게 일곱 그루의 차나무로 되어 이 산속에서 영원히 햇볕과 비를 맞는 고통을 받게 했다. 용마천사는 일곱 선녀가 자신 때문에 강등당했다는 것을 알고, 매우 미안해하며 그들을 지키기로 결심했다. 이때부터 용마천사가 밤낮으로 차나무 옆을 지키며 특히 청명 전후에는 차나무 도둑이 넘쳐났는데 도둑들의 손에서 지키기 위해 한 발짝도 떨어지지 않았다. 그 후 백마 한 마리가 산에서 질주하는 것을 자주 보게 되었는데 그 말이 용마천사라 여겨 이 산을 백마산이라 부르게 되었다고 한다.

白馬山は紹興城内の名山で、『紹興県志』によれば、ドクダミ、彭山の間にあった。山のそばには白馬廟があり、本室もあったが、すでに消滅した。現在は中心通りのすぐ近くにあり、向かいに書聖の里、その東に東大池がある。現在、実際には約250平方メートルの範囲の小さな土の丘にすぎない。しかし、この山の景色はとても美しくて、山にはたくさんの木があって、緑の木が陰を成していることに相当する。

白馬山にはかつて7本の茶の木があったが、誰も摘むことができなかったと伝えられているのは、茶の木の周りに白馬が守っていたからだと言われている。この7本の茶の木はもとは七仙女が変えたものだ。海を護衛していた七仙女姉妹は、二人で越国城内に私遊してきた。越国城内に来た時、この丘の景色がいいので、落ち着いた。

ある日、彼女たちが山下の東大池で風呂に入っていると、とつぜんハンサムで背の高い男が現れた。彼は自分が龍馬天4頭、もとは神の騎乗だと主張したが、王母娘の機嫌を損ねたので、凡間に降ろされ、偶然に彼女たちと出会ったのは幸運だった。七姉妹は龍馬天を慕って山の中で遊ぶよう引き止めた。

七姉妹の守護がなかったため、邪悪な黒龍が出てきて悪事を働き、船はひっくり返り、漁獲は得られなかった。玉帝はとても怒って、彼女らを凡間にけなして、七株の茶の木になって、この山の中で永遠に日焼けと雨にぬれた苦しみを受けた。龍馬天は7仙女が自分のために貶されたことを知って、とても申し訳なくて、彼女たちを守ることを决意した。それ以来、龍馬の天は、特に清明前後の日を守る茶の木のそばで、さらに一歩も离さないので、茶の木は凡夫の人に手を染められている。後に白馬が山に招聘しているのをよく見て、龍馬の天4台分と考えて、この山を白馬山と呼ぶようになったという。
